Great hotel with top tier service and a great vibe!
Park MGM Pools August 25, 2026.We really enjoyed spending time at the pools at Park MGM. The whole pool area has a very relaxing and comfortable atmosphere, which was exactly what we wanted after walking around the Strip. The pools and surrounding areas were clean and well maintained, and there were plenty of loungers and umbrellas available when we visited. We got a cabana for several hundred dollars and I do not recommend it. The cabanas are pretty disgusting and the only advantage you have is a dedicated server that comes by once an hour. We have had a cabana on the strip before and the interior was much better maintained at other resorts. I'm pretty positive they don't clean these places and now instead just slap towels on the furniture to cover up the stains and holes. Don't waste your money on cabanas here save your money and go anywhere else.
Near closing time today 6-24-2026, the life guard in front of the drift bar was extremely rude in regard to getting out of the pool. I was told I could go around and exit and when I got to this section, the lifeguard insisted I exited in an area with no stairs. I was on a floatable and jumping over to exit is near impossible due to my knee problems. The MGM pool itself is great, but the guest experience is being diluted because they allow outsiders with day passes. The pool is already crowded enough with hotel guests, and opening it to non‑guests makes it feel less like a resort amenity and more like a public splash zone. We had a perfect spot, and out of nowhere a family of 22 showed up kids everywhere, taking over the entire area we were in.
