I had the Pool Doctor service my automatic pool cover earlier this month as it was not functioning properly and smoothly when closing. They made a service call to diagnose the issue and order parts. Once parts were received they returned to not only fix the issues with closing of the cover but also fixed the mechanism that automatically stops the cover when opening and closing. Poor communication. Services mid. We do want to shout out Amanda; she was amazing and is who sold us on going with The Pool Doctor. She was very knowledgeable in identifying the issues we were having and getting us set up for service. If everyone had half of her competence, I'm sure the entire experience would have been amazing. We had our in ground pool inspected before purchasing our new home and also had pool school after we moved in and they taught us how to take care of our pool. You can really tell that this family owned business cares about its customers and are very thorough! They have a repeat customer in me
We hired The Pool Doctor to close our pool in October 2024, after years of working with them. When they replaced our pump earlier that month, their technician (who is wonderful) gave us specific instructions, on-site and on camera, about how much shock to add ourselves to correct the green water since the pump was out for over a week. He told us exactly what to do, said it would be sufficient, and left. A couple of weeks later, the company returned to close the pool.
