Reception, tech, and radiologist at the breast imaging suite were all wonderful
I checked in at 10:52 for a 11:15 appt. It was 11:31 and nobody had come to pick me up. The clerk forgot to tell the tech I was there and since past 11:30 they couldn’t see me even though it was not my fault. They need a better process.
Mammogram
I called to get an estimate for a procedure. They were unable to tell me ANY sort of approximate cost unless my pcp sent them an order for the procedure. If I decided to go someplace else I would then need my pop to send another request and get pre-approved through my insurance again. Every other imaging place I called was able to reference my insurance and the CPT code to give me estimated pricing... Font know why Optum couldn't even give me an estimate...?
