I went to POI for mental health and was at the point where I would've done ibo in a basement in North Dakota. My expectations for the setting and care were low, but Diane, George, and the rest of the staff blew it away! Everyone was caring, selfless, and attentive. They were extremely hands on even though they didn't have to be, and made sure you were taken care of and safe. The environment was setup for peace and healing and that's exactly what you got. From the moment you give George and Diane your info and/or call, you become an important person to them. I had hit rock bottom, MY PERSONAL rock bottom. A friend of mine sent me The POI Institute’s website. I scheduled a phone call with Diane while I was in rehab (for the third time). She filled me with knowledge. Answered all questions quickly and in an easy to understand way. And when I left rehab earlier than usual, she worked with me to bump up my trip a month sooner than initially planned. Prospective patients should be aware of a critical exclusion policy before spending time or emotional energy applying. I was informed directly by The POI Institute that they do not accept patients who may be difficult IV starts, as they do not have ultrasound-guided IV capability and will not attempt treatment if IV access cannot be easily obtained. This is a hard disqualification, regardless of medical need, treatment motivation, or ability to pay. Be advised

PoI Institute is AMAZING and words don’t fully capture the depth of my GRATITUDE for the safe and caring space Diane, George and their team create. Embarking on a healing journey like was a really big deal for me. Very incredible experience. Everything about my time at POI was wonderful. Staff, food, accommodations… everything. While a large portion of us are there for addiction, I firmly believe that anyone could benefit from this. It has completely changed the way I vibrate. My go to for dealing with stress is now something productive not destructive. Cheers everyone Dianne, George, Jake, and Chewy, the experience was truly wonderful in part to your dedication.
