Engineer came over on Friday evening (yesterday)to fit a new shower mixer and radiator. Was in a rush to leave and assured that the job was done. Tried to switch on the boiler to have a shower this morning and the water heating is not working at all. Which has never been an issue prior to the engineer's visit. Charged a huge amount for no hot water and not disposing of the old rad. Prompt in sending the invoice though! Barry and Phil did a great job installing three difficult radiators and a new loo and sink. Highly recommended
These people, who I hadn't dealt with before, rescheduled the work I wanted done when they discovered I had no heating or hot water, so that both were restored more quickly. Reasonable rates. Very pleasant attitude. I am planning to use them again to get some radiators replaced.
Our Vaillant boiler was making some rather alarming noises and I contacted The Plumber ABS who were able to schedule me in just a few days time. Barry arrived exactly on time after a courtesy call to say he was on the way. It turned out our boiler was overdue a service and Barry quickly set to work dismantling it and replacing all the leaking seals and gaskets, as well as cleaning the burner.
