Their food is god-awful. Looks so unappetizing. I've tried it when visiting my mom and it is gross.
My mom has been at the Pines for 3 years. They need better training and more workers! The food is absolutely god-awful and half the time. You can't even tell what's on their plate. My sister is/was in there with ALS. She had a machine for comminaction. The people that work there are to be friendly and helpful. THEY ARE NOT. Only 3 of the working staff is actually gentle. If she would tell them that she was hurting, they would ignore her or if there was MILK in her feeding tube. I time them on getting the door once and ot took them over 15 MINUTES.

The management is all very approachable and willing to listen to anything you want to address or even teach and train the staff in. They truly care about each and every employee. All of the staff helps one another and even jumps in to help others when they need it. Even if it isn't their "job." I work in the therapy department as a COTA (Certified Occupational Therap... read more
