Both my children were in water village last week. This was the first sleep away camp for both. My daughter was ready for us to leave. My son was already homesick but the compassion his counselor Weave showed towards him warmed my heart and I knew he would be just fine. We hadn't even left yesterday after pickup when both were pleading for me to please let them come back next year. This is an awesome camp! They are serious about our faith and not serious about anything else. As a parent, I love the enthusiasm of the counselors and their willingness to do things, like messy wars, that I just can't do at home.
Awesome. My son's been going for three years and absolutely looks forward to it every summer.
Love this camp and everything it stands for. Received a letter from my daughter about her first day at camp ever and she said it is very, very fun and she met so many new friends. She also said that she doesn't really miss us but kinda does....great job to all of the team at The Pines Catholic Camp
