Place is disturbing. My niece was there and we NEVER heard from any doctor or psychiatrist until we called to get answers. She was in not one, but TWO altercations with other children. We didn’t find out until she called and told us. Half the time the phone was off the hook and we never gpt to speak with her. They made us wait over two hours for her to be discharged after we had already completed the paper the night before. The cherry on top was she said she barely ate because the food was so nasty & she came home with LICE!... read more

Understaffed and minimal oversight. The promised schedule was never delivered. There are good therapists there with honest intentions, but this was greatly overshadowed by poor staffing and lack of a standardized schedule. The check-ins often took until noon which prevented any additional skill building. I am so sad this was the case since my loved one was really hopeful they would have an impactful and life-improving experience. Recommend looking elsewhere.
The Pines at Holly Hill’s program is a great program. Everyone is supportive and the team works together seamlessly. I want to shout out Basir (sp) for being an authentic Counselor and challenging me at the right times. It helped me to understand the importance of being mentally well. All of my family and close friends tell me they are proud of me on a regular basis. Once you know better, you do better! If I could, I would do the program once every two years. 😃
