Ugh, This was BAD! I went to get my 2 year old daughter's Christmas picture taken and was extremely frustrated and dissappointed with the studio. My appointment time was 4:20 and was not taken into the session until 5:00. The photographer lacked any kind of energy to get my daughter motivated to take the picture. With a 2 year old you need some level of motivation. She was helpful in suggesting a background but that was about it. Life Long I go to the picture people on a regular basis and always have a great experience. This time was exceptional though. Chelsea was so good with my daughter. She didnt scare her at all, she knew just what to do to make her feel comfortable in front of the camera. I love the picture people and will be a life long customer.
Picture People is AWESOME! We went there today for my daughters two month pictures. Our photographer was Stephanie and she was amazing! Trinity had just waken up and was hungry and I still got great photos! We didn't wait more than 20 minutes for everything! I definately recommend them!
I loved it!! I went here to take Belly pics, Child's first pics and Christmas pics and was pleased with EVERYTHING!!! The reason there is a long wait during the holidays is because people do not mind waiting for GREAT pictures. I've been to Kiddie Kandids with my nieces and they do good work but I want greatness for my kids pics!! If you go, ask for Nick to be your photographer. He is AWESOME!!
Don't waste your time or money I booked an appointment online for a Halloween session way ahead of time (september). When we got there as scheduled, they made us wait for 25 minutes. My children and I (one and five years old) lost patience quickly. I asked for a comb to touch up my daughter's hair, they told me they didn't have one and that I should go buy one at the accessory store in the mall. Horrible Experience I haven't been to Picture People in awhile now because the wait times are just too long, especially considering we had appointments. The prices are a little high compared with Sears & Penney's. Really, the biggest problem is that they aren't digital so you don't know if the pictures came out until you go back. Almost every time I've gone back in an hour the pictures aren't ready anyway and we end up leaving and coming back the next day. I will not be going back.
They specialize in kids! The Picture People specializes in taking pictures of kids, even kids who don't like having their pictures taken! They have a number of items (including a tickle wand) that will get your kids to smile. Their props and backgrounds are unique and adorable. You have the option of getting your pictures that same day (you usually have to wait about an hour), and the quality is great! i like them a few great things about picture people: you get your photos in hand in one hour, i love instant gratification. you get plain backgrounds and cute props. i think the busy, faux backgrounds at sears and places like that look cheesy. you get a good deal. sign up for their portrait club and you automatically get you money's worth in 3 free prints. plus you'll get unlimited sitting for a whole year, for your whole family! their photos aren't as formal as MotoPhoto which is also in the same mall, but they are a more a... read more
