Visited this place and the picklr in slc. What is it with the black walls and no natural light? Really depressing to play there. If you can’t have natural light at least put something on the walls to make it look less dreary. Check out the hub in Alameda. They did a great job.
Picklr is great. Courts are climate controlled and the entire facility is pretty new. $199 may actually be worth it although hub is cheaper. It has free reservations. Hub charges $30 per hr to reserve. So people who like to practice or play with known friends would love picklr. Hub is still probably better for open play since they have lots of courts for open play at various levels. But this has its own niche.
The best pickleball court I have ever played, no skid, clean court and stable net (the only area to improvement is to hit ATP). The space is quite spacious: the two showerooms, a viewing deck, courtside tables and event rooms!
Love this place! Very clean and very organized! Able to have a lot of plays with many good players!!! I'm very skeptical at the beginning, but now I really love this place
