I came to this coffee shop out of curiosity. Just as I had recommended, the owner was a very warm and friendly lady. Even though my English was not good, she still tried her best to talk to me. As for the sausage rolls and lemon cake, they were truly amazing. It was an unforgettable afternoon. I will definitely come again .
Such a lovely little spot. The gluten free sausage roll was beyond yum and had an handmade relish. All local ingredients. The owner popped a little table out just for me to eat it. Will def be coming back for some more of her food goodness!
An absolute rip off for a sausage roll that was not much bigger than one of those individual "party" sausage rolls. Quality was average to say the least. Charges $13 for two. Not good enough, way way over priced for such a tiny amount of food.
A month or so ago I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Carolyn, the owner of a gorgeous little Cafe in Strathalbyn. Her passion and love of the town and what she does was inspiring and her honey icecream is to die for! Amazing place and awesome local. Definitely pop past next time you are in Strath.
The Pickle Pot is our favourite café to visit whenever we are visiting Strathalbyn from Melbourne. Carolyn is so welcoming, makes the best coffee in Strath and produces and stocks incredible, fresh, local goods with quality ingredients: from mushroom and spinach quiche and baked cheescake, to Portuguese custard tarts and renowned honey ice-cream. Kid-friendly and dog-friendly, very highly recommend!
