I'm not really a gym person, but I've been happily coming here for over a year. The gym is small and the class sizes are intimate, which is great for getting some proper attention. There's a good variety in the programs, and the flexible time slots are really handy. The owner, Josh, is the main trainer and he's excellent. He keeps a close eye on everyone, which has been a big help. The atmosphere is also fantastic: everyone is friendly and welcoming. I've seen some solid results and I'm really glad I found this place.
Could not recommend the performance Pitt enough! I’d never set foot in gym before joining and am absolutely loving strength training. Josh is a fantastic coach who really cares about his clients, the Pitt is a really welcoming place that caters for all levels of fitness. I’ve seen huge improvements since joining and training here has become one of my favourite parts of the week.
I joined the Performance Pit during my Working Holiday Visa. I hadn’t trained in a few months and felt that I had totally lost my confidence to even walk into a gym. Thanks to Josh and Jade I felt welcomed and at ease from the minute I stepped through the door. Excellent training and support from coach Josh. Highly recommend to anyone looking to lose fat and/or gain muscle. The program design, accountability, tracking and support is world class. I'm stronger than I've ever been and am excited about the results I have and will achieve at The Performance Pit.
Weight training in a gym under the guidance of a personal trainer has been revolutionary for me. I was a Pilates devotee who was never quite satisfied with the lack of immediate and obvious results I was seeing.
