WOW! What a wonderful hideaway in the forest surrounded by amazing waterways and spectacular views. We had a fabulous 5 night stay and didn’t want to leave. The cosy fire and huge kitchen had everything we needed and more. We loved all the walks especially the one to Seal Rocks, spotting a few Pademelons along the way and heaps at night right outside. Went out to the Dover yacht club one night and when we came back we saw a wombat right near the house! Even saw an echidna crossing the road! Cant wait to return!
We stayed for 2 nights last week and it was heartbreaking to leave! Every mod-con you could need, while still staying somewhere remote and connected to nature. I cannot recommend it highly enough. The kitchen was stunning, the views were spectacular and the spa was out of this world. We celebrated my birthday, and had a belated celebration of our 25th wedding anniversary. We stayed in the Boathouse and it was superb. Everything in the cabin was high-spec and it much better than we were expecting. The view from the deck across the water is lovely and it's a very short stroll down the track to the rock-beach looking toward Dover. The spa in the deck was the icing on the cake. Watching a sunset in the spa with a glass from the bottle of complementary champagne was something we'll never forget.
