My son slowly dropped his safe foods until he gave them all up except for his bottle smoothie. After a year and a half of feeding therapy twice a week we were able to add yogurt and pudding. I found The Pediatric Feeding Institute online and after his 8 weeks of intensive feeding therapy he is eating hamburgers, chicken, fries, spring rolls, bananas, strawberries, mango etc... I was beyond amazed and grateful! Even our local feeding therapist who previously worked in an intensive feeding program was very impressed with the res... read more

My son was in OT and feeding therapy for about a year. His therapist Cristi made remarkable progress with him. Everyone on the staff has always treated him with dignity and compassion. He then did the 8 week intensive therapy program. When I tell you his entire life changed I truly mean it. starting program he only drank pediasure from a baby bottle (5 year old boy) and ate bacon. Now he eats such a great variety of foods. He leans heavily on proteins such as, roasted chicken, steak, burgers, salmon filets, salmon patties, c... read more

We attended the 8-week intensive feeding program in August of 2025 for our two year old son. At the time we had arrived in Boca, our son was eating four things - oatmeal, pasta with bolognese sauce, smoothies, and dissolvable corn puffs. He no longer had the capacity to chew or swallow anything with a hard texture. Coming to Boca was truly our last hope in order to... read more

The Pediatric Feeding Institute of South Florida has changed our lifes. Our daughter had feeding issues from infancy. She never took full feeds, would vomit extensively, or go long periods without eating. It was incredibly stressful, and we hoped that transitioning to solids would improve things. Unfortunately, it didn’t. Our local hospital recommended EMDR therapy, but when that didn’t help, they suggested a hunger provocation to force her to eat. We had various outpatient therapy sessions, but that also yielded no results.... read more

For over 3.5 years, my son struggled to eat. He had severe sensory challenges that caused him to gag on just about everything, as well as poor oral motor coordination that prevented him for chewing properly. His diet consisted solely of Pediasure, milk, a handful of pantry (junk) foods and some purees that he ate with much difficulty. After years of failed traditional outpatient therapy, his attitude toward food only continued to worsen. The local children’s hospital overseeing his care had no remaining option for him other ... read more
