Had a bike I was looking for across the USA , luckily I have a home in Louisiana even though I was willing to travel to pick up my SE bike. But it was only a hr away from my bayou house. Staff was phenomenal and gave me a nice price and also filled my other bike I had in truck with air. They held the bike for me because I had no space and when I came the next day as soon as I walked in they had the bike ready to go. Definitely will be purchasing more.
For those searching for bikes on the internet, nothing substitutes a visit to your local bike shop. I have a unique condition. I am tall and I have a hip replacement. I searched long and hard for the perfect bike. Finally I gave up and decided to visit The Pedal Shop down the street. Perry helped me pick out the right bike among many choices. The next day he delivered it and picked up my old bike to tune it up. Great, friendly service on the local level. A real person with real knowledge, and years of experience.
Very dismissive soon as I walked in and unwelcoming immediately shaking his head no before I can get a word out on why I was there ... horrible service!!!
Definitely a great bike shop friendly, and understanding of customer needs also can schedule pick up and delivery services for your convenience.
I have tried to use them twice for basic repairs, don't bother. Very unprofessional. First time took more than a week and the second time I gave up after more than 2 weeks with no warning they would take a long time for a 15 minute repair. Maybe they need to charge more if they are so backed up or maybe just tell customers they don't want to do bike repairs?
