Recommendedpearl west is in super shape with brand new greens ! a must play !
We played West the day before it closed for the new greens earlier this year and we played the new greens yesterday. The greens LOOK nice and smooth but they are extremely bumpy. My only other comparison would be last year when we Played crow creek with new greens and they rolled 100% better Plus, and more surprising. Did someone forget there are fringes? A good number of the fringes had very large bare spots - totally unexpected! But the Pearl is the Pearl course was in god shape and we had a good time!
RecommendedAbsolutely love The Pearl. Both east and west courses offer a challenging but fair experience for all golfers. Superb clubhouse with a great bar/restaurant. Staff is always friendly. If ever on the north end of the strand, go!

RecommendedThe staff from the bag drop to the pro shop and grill are friendly and helpful. The course has come a long way in a year. The improvements are truly noticeable. Today was a hot summer day with over 100 heat index but they hosted an excellent event despite Mother Nature. 96 local women enjoyed the first Pearl Ladies Invitational. A great time was had by all.
Sorry guys but you fall short.... no grass in the fairways, tee boxes or greens! Might be ok in a month or two.
