I tore a few Suites in the pearl, at one point the top building in the city of Edmonton and in many ways it still is. But looking at purchasing there with the property taxes being ridiculously high and condo fees matching the square footage in each unit, even if you bought it out in full you'd have a cost, at the very least of $2,000 a month just to maintain I also found that it's starting to look kind of shabby in places like in the elevators and some of the lobbies.
