RecommendedTook the family out for an “adventure” and found our way downtown to the Peanut Shoppe. We were delighted by the owner who told us all about the history of the Planters Peanut and Chocolate Company. He showed us the the roaster and told us all about the different nuts and candy as well as some Memphis history. The kids enjoyed it, especially the candy, and we made memories to last a lifetime. We will definitely go back, and we will tell our friends and family to make a point to go visit as well.
RecommendedYesterday was the first day we got my dad out for an outing since we arrived in Tennessee. He’s been asking non-stop for fried Spanish peanuts the past few days, and I think the Lord brought us The Peanut Shoppe Memphis and owner Rida Abuzaineh. He was gracious and so kind to us and asked to use our camera to take photos for us. We are all trying desperately not to be so sad, but it’s difficult when you have a parent in hospice. RecommendedMy Dad loves the owners and their store so much, so I decided to place an order for Father’s Day to surprise him. Rida and Nurah were so sweet and easy to work with. They know my dad and what his favorite peanuts are and took such care putting together his gift! He was so surprised and happy to receive it. I will order from them in the future! RecommendedIf you have ever purchased peanuts in a jar from a grocery store, do yourself a favor and go to the Peanut Shoppe and get some fresh. Absolutely incredible and soooooo much tastier and better. Will be ordering from them from now on instead of buying at the grocery store.
