This is a great historical place to eat. Very nice restaurant. Lot of historical pictures and things on the wall. Very close to downtown whiskey Row. The waiters and staff were very good. The food was excellent. Very quiet, easy to talk.
The Peacock Room was really sad with just 2 tables and really REALLY slow service. We gave it 1 more try and just can’t do it. Filet minon was cooked well done not medium rare. There is ZERO flavor to the steak, potatoes or veggies on the surf and turf. One girl had such LONG FAKE NAILS touching over the rim of my plate when she served I was just grossed out.
