What a great place! We were driving through and wanted something quick and delicious to eat, the Miners Lunchbox was perfect for the four of us.
Best pasties in Butte. They are BIG! The beef quality is great, I never find gristle. It's tender and has great flavor. The crust is perfect in that it's flaky and not too dense, but still holds everything together. Seasoning is perfect, not bland and not too much. The people who own and operate are great. Fast service, always have a smile and a warm greeting. I just wish they were open more days and stayed open a little bit longer. I can't tell you how many Sundays or Mondays I've wanted a pasty and couldn't.
I was so happy to discover The Pasty Place while visiting my hometown of Butte, MT! It’s located where Nancy’s Pasties used to be when I lived in Butte, so finding that I could get a good Butte pasty there again was such a treat. I ordered several pasties to bring home to Seattle and mentioned that I would be freezing them overnight for the drive home.
