My family and I simply adore this restaurant. The atmosphere is so cozy, old fashioned and dark. We love it. The staff are such nice people, and the food is always delicious and heart warming. We've dined here each time we've visited Stratford and even the kids love it here. We also came for their Easter brunch buffet which was really fun. The Pavlova dessert is a must!!
We went to The Parlour restaurant tonight after seeing a play at Stratford Festival. We have been many times before and always enjoyed the food and ambiance. Tonight, unfortunately, we were somewhat shocked by an event that happened at the end of service. During our meal we ordered three alcoholic beverages, and after ordering we were told a few minutes later that one of the beverages was in fact not available. Very tasty dishes!
First time Saturday night 8pm dinner, no reservations, almost empty as everyone must be at a show. Nice pub decor and comfortable seating. Noticeably no background music. Came here for Prime rib but the promotion was over. Food was well below my expectations based on reviews. Chicken overcooked, veggies were shrivelled, potatoes bland, salmon small for the price, orzo was very good.
