Had a bad experience here ,the room we had was very noisy due to an event arranged in the other room very disappointing we should been informed prior .we had to cancel our second night due to fears of more disruption. We received no refund,they basically didn't care about the situation. Felt ripped off and over charged .
We enjoyed a fantastic dinner at the cafe, a super fresh and creative menu. If you are looking for delicious food and great service it’s definitely worth a visit if you are heading to Mudgee.
The review is based mainly on price. I feel we paid a lot more than we should have. $200 to $250 a night would be a more appropriate price. Having said that the hotel is very nice and well located. Noise from the busy Castlereagh Hwy is minimal. The room was clean and comfortable although the confusing provision of only one knife as cutlery did raise our eyebrows.
