we’re having construction done on the bricks in our building and this has been the horrible experience. These people tape up your windows so nothing would come in. Keep them taped up. They leave to go home when they’re finished and come the next day and start to start their work again meanwhile with this weather, I need to open my windows. I only have one air-conditioning in my bedroom and two fans and it’s not enough. It’s too hot. How can they not take the tape off and put it on the next day? Parkchester needs upgrade on their employees , I went there today because I need to put my intercom on my phone, but because I couldn’t understand it could do. It. Went to their office, but it’s so happens that I went to the south office and not the north. You would think they would say. Oh don’t worry. Today i had service and the handyman came their names Ray P4 and Frank P3. These gentlemen were very nice very polite and did a good job explaining to me what they did on the faucet that was leaking water . They explained to me what they did. It’s not gonna leak anymore. I tested the faucet. It wasn’t leaking and they took that time about everything. They didn’t rush. They didn’t get annoyed when I talked to them while they were working. The Parkchester condominiums have installed new intercom systems and do not have staff to service them. Currently our entire building does not have access to buzz deliveries in b/c the intercom system is not displaying the directory properly. Why as a renter am I being asked to contact anyone but Parkchester service department for a problem with how something works improperly on the property?
Awful management, very old buildings with crumbling and outdated infrastructure. There's not much of anything good to say. Parkchester South Condominium is well taken care of, but it's not that much better.
