Life guards zone off and don’t watch their zones properly, as well as the slide attendant just sits there on their phone giving no directions what so ever. As a certified lifeguard and swimming instructor for a different rec center I can say I do not want to go back to this pool. The lap pool was empty except for one lane and my little sister who has taken swimming lessons at this facility and I got kicked out of the pool during the open plunge time because we were not swimming laps even though there were 6 other lanes open.

3 stars because it seems fairly clean and chemicals are adjusted correctly. My beef with the local pool is that there is next to no shade, and they removed the long lounge chairs so you essentially have to bring all of what you want. I know it's a municipal pool but they really put no effort into making it somewhat comfortable.

I take the water aerobics class, the people are great but the locker room needs some bleach & the showers need updating. It's closed a lot for maintenance.
