Super late on this review but I think it’s still worth something. I lived here for a little over 2 years 2020-2023. There are good and bad like all places but overall I wouldn’t change my choice to live here. As a single woman, I felt safe here. I did regular walks around the neighborhood. I left early in the AM and came home late at night, even had to walk to bart some of the times, wasn’t by choice, but I was fine. With that being said, THE LOCATION IS PRIME. Pros: Good area, modern units, allows pets, current property manager James is awesome, Amazon lockers very convenient, onsite gym room. Cons: The company that owns this property doesn't seem well organized. There was a super negligent property manager and maintenance guy when I moved in, later replaced with better personnel. However, the company totally screwed us over on utility charges that were never specified, they didn't respond to dispute and basically used the third party utilities servicer Conservice as a shield. Honestly I really like living here, James is phenomenal whenever you need help!
Moved out of here about 9 months ago and this is the worst management company that I have ever experienced. First of all, the fake grass in the courtyard is full of animal urine and feces. They do not enforce the tenants to clean up after themselves and they never clean or hose down the grass. Next, the on-site manager is only occasionally on site, impossible to get ahold of, and is not very helpful. Frequently, he would tell me one thing and then do another. Me and my mom had a bad experience trying to get a unit at this apartment and a bad experience with the property manager. The property manager made us believe for over 3 weeks that he was going to lease us a unity from the apartment and once we applied and payed the fee of 50+ dollars. By this time he was saying he was going to save the unit for us and that we were going to get it. We put our 30 day notice for our current apartment and once we let him know he that we were ready to move he kept ignoring our calls until my mom... read more
