The Panoramic Berkeley is the best campus dorms at Berkeley! The rooms are well furnished and the staff is very welcoming and nice! Highly recommend!
I've stayed in panoramic last summer and am currently staying this summer, both stays have been great. Management is very helpful as well! The rooms are fully furnished and cozy and the kitchen has lots of storage too. I especially like how close the building is to campus.
Panoramic has been a great place to stay at during the summer. The staff are helpful, great individuals and maintenance requests are sorted within 24 hours if not the same day (thanks Jose!). I got quite lucky and got assigned to a corner unit on the top floor. Every morning I wake up to the view of the bay and the Golden Gate Bridge and at night I get to have dinner while watching the sunset. The only “issue” I have is a very minor quality of life one. This is my first time staying at the Panoramic Berkeley. Out of the various summer housing options, the Panoramic was my top choice and I'm so glad to have been given the opportunity to stay here. I'm currently in a quad with my own room, 1.5 bathrooms, a kitchen and living room. The apartment is the perfect size for my roommates and I. I moved in to the Panoramic because I needed emergency housing and was so surprised that they could get me in within 24 hours! The building itself is quite accessible and modern and there is always help when you need it. Additionally, I think it is one of the best locations for student apartments, it is only 3 blocks from campus amongst many restaurants and cafes. Personally, I love the rooftop deck and patio for fresh air.
