During the past 50 some years we have rented many houses all over the US and overseas. It is our preferred way to travel. I can honestly say that we have never had a worse rental experience. We agreed on a one month rental but before the contract was signed the owners shortened our stay to three weeks because of work to be done by a contractor. They refused to adjust the price.
