I booked on line in my booking I said I would check in at 20:00 due to my flight arrival. When I arrived at the premises everything was closed and when I called the bloke was rude and told me on the www site it said they closed at 19:00 I screened the entire www site and did not find anything as such. Anyway he said he would not charge me - guess what he lied and I got charged ……… thieves and lies all the way
We just finished a three night stay here and can't say enough good things about the motel. I will start with stating that we are not fancy hotel people. We don't require lush accommodations, as we would prefer to spend that extra money on experiences since we aren't using the room to do more than sleep. Palms on Ocean fit the bill. Check-in was easy and quick, which is a great way to start a beach stay. Minor hiccup — misheard the room number and accidentally made fast friends with the folks in Room 10 🤷♂️🤣 (shoutout to them for being cool). First impression: classic-style beach motel. He charged me $189 for one night. The room was old, with old carpeting, and they put so much chlorine in the bathroom that I felt sick. The desk was completely broken, the room was dirty, the windows were broken, and the bad smell from the carpet made me ill. The front door didn't feel very secure. For that price, I could have stayed at a much better hotel. I do not recommend it!
The room is clean and roomy. Has a good size fridge and an electric stove plus microwave and a small counter with sink, they also provide basic kitchenware. Cozy and clean. The bathroom is clean and towels are clean. I can nit pick the place but the room is a modest place for a decent price. I like modest places so if you’re expecting luxury that’s not the place to land.
