I was a guest at a recent wedding at The Paddock and was really disappointed in how their staff handled what could’ve been a minor misunderstanding. A few guests unknowingly brought in some alcoholic drinks, most of them still sealed, not realizing it violated the venue’s policy. Instead of communicating this clearly or addressing it respectfully, the staff waited until the end of the night, went through people’s bags without permission, and confronted guests in a very aggressive way. I attended a wedding at The Paddock recently, and as someone newly engaged and looking for venues, I was shocked by how poorly they treated guests. When some outside alcohol was brought in, staff went through trash cans, personal bags, and even shined lights into cars, then waited until the end of the night to come out yelling instead of addressing it calmly. It completely ruined the atmosphere. After seeing how they treated people, I would never consider booking my own wedding here.
Our experience at The Paddock was deeply disappointing due to how the staff handled a minor situation that could have been resolved with a simple conversation. Instead of speaking with guests directly, employees acted with hostility, raised their voices, and searched through personal belongings without consent.
