Specialties: The word "charm" doesn't seem to cut it when describing our town. Sure, it's got a lot of that. But Cayucos also has this uncanny ability to make all feel at home here. It's why we fell in love with it (although the surf didn't hurt). As locals ourselves, our goal with The Pacific is to help anyone staying here feel like they're part of our community. Whether they're visiting family for a long weekend, first timers discovering the town, or longtime Fourth of July enthusiasts, we've created this space for anyone ... read more

Get directionsCan every motel / hotel experience be as lovely as this was? The sweet lobby boutique with fireplace was perfect for morning coffee and perusing of well curated items. The rooms were simple, clean, updated and well appointed. My room had a live plant in it and the bed was more comfortable than mine at home, swoon! The outdoor spaces were just perfect for our group to cozy up together for the evening with twinkle lights and huge gas fire pits. The speakeasy style wine bar, the Salty Tiger, was by far my favorite little piece ... read more
I recently enjoyed a quick weekend getaway to The Pacific Hotel in Cayucos and it was fabulous! It’s a charming little spot not to be missed. I loved everything about it. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The lobby is darling with a great little sitting area to enjoy your morning coffee and a fun little retail area. The room with fireplace was so cozy, clean and immaculately appointed (their linens are SO GOOD). The outdoor fire pit areas were wonderful for enjoying the fresh air and a little stargazing. And don’t miss Th... read more
Lacey, who checked us in and also served as bartender, is wonderful. The tiny bar is a fun space. A bit of a fee for a one-hour check-out time extension, but staff advised it's to cover higher cost of housekeeping resulting from later check-outs. I appreciate an operation that looks after their hard-working housekeeping staff. A great place to stay!
We had a lovely stay at the Pacific Motel. Check in process was easy and the lady checking us in was very friendly. The motel is in a great location with easy walking distance to the beach, pier, restaurants, coffee shops, antique shops, etc. It's also in easy driving distance to SLO, Morro Bay, Hearst Castle and more. The standalone bungalow was very cozy and roomy. The bed is also very comfortable. The only slight negatives (and these are nitpicks!) are if you are an early riser there is no coffee in the room and isn't av... read more
Such an adorable, clean, updated and quiet motel! Comfortable rooms and beds, great personal service and fun onsite bar - The Salty Tiger. We enjoyed the friendly staff, sitting by the fireplace in the lobby while enjoying our morning coffee and walking to several restaurants. We appreciated that everything was updated and the location was perfect! We will definitely be back and plan to stay longer next time. Lacy was so friendly and a joy to get to know. Looking forward to our next trip!
