We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Pacific Motel. The rooms are stylishly updated, the beds/linens/pillows were exceptional and the local bath products (FableRune) excellent. If you are a light sleeper, I would suggest booking one of the stand-alone bungalows rather than a room with a common wall. The design isn't unusual for vintage motels... what has changed is the courtesy of the neighboring guests. We had such a fun visit at The Pacific Motel. Arrived to town around noon and they graciously allowed us to use the Tesla charging while we explored town before returning to check in at 3pm. Really appreciated that we were able to text the front desk with any needs, they were super responsive. The room was perfect, really comfortable bed, great water pressure/temperature in the shower. This place is the perfect stop on a hwy 1 roadtrip. The room is clean, fresh, modern and airy. The standard room looks just like the photos on the hotel web site, but feels way more spacious than 250 sq ft. The bedding is very comfortable. The lobby staff is so friendly and helpful. Location is quiet but a few minutes walk to the beach and 10 mins walk to most restaurants. There are 2 Tesla destination chargers that are complimentary to use! The town of Cayucos is a hidden gem. I can’t say enough about the Pacific Motel. We had a wonderful stay at the Pacific Motel in Cayucos, CA. The motel was clean, comfortable, and had such a cute coastal feel. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond. I accidentally left my AirPods behind, and they actually called me to let me know and mailed them back to me. I honestly can’t remember another hotel ever doing that for me. Very cool updates make this retro motel a true gem. The rooms are stylish and functional. The public spaces are designed to enhance your stay thru additional fun (fire pits, ping pong) and services (extra seating, gotta love an outdoor shower!). The lobby is stocked with locally made products that make great keepsakes or gifts. We will def be back.
