It’s our first visit after change of the ownership. Wonderful as always. European quality food and service a whole lot closer to home.
I didn’t even pull out my phone to take pictures because the setting felt so intimate; you just wanted to sit there and enjoy it. I’m really grateful Duane answered the phone when we were down the street at another restaurant that just wasn’t our vibe. Getting a table here completely changed the feel of our New Year’s Eve. My husband and I are locals in the area and have been there several times. If the restaurant is going to stay in business you cannot expect the Bar Manager to run the entire operation. We had one drink which were good but.......my husband's Manhattan, we did NOT call any special liquor, was $23.00 WHICH was unheard of! My friend and I had an espresso martini, which was also $16.00 each. So three drinks $53.00. Something changed. Cocktail prices were $18 each. The little window nook now has a frosted film over it now, which we felt negatively impacted the warm ambiance that was previously there. There’s talent in the kitchen, but the value isn’t there given the portions. Really wish there was a way to view the changing menu online. Can no longer recommend.
