When my mom Antoinette first went into care at The Oxford at the age of 94, she was not interested in participating in activities, not having left her room when she was still living at home either, but the recreation staff persisted in inviting her and encouraging her to attend. When you go for a tour of the facilities, looking for the right place for your loved one, perhaps you want to see if there is a grey car in the parking lot with the license plate VP5 05K. Then perhaps you could ask to speak to this employee.
