I had a great time! The bar is cute, cozy and Kate was so attentive. We had the Cuban sandwich 10/10.

We had really high hopes while waiting in line to get in. The door man was so friendly and made everyone feel welcome..... Then we got inside. We sat a a table that was right on top of a vent.... Only one open and first come first serve. It was freezing. Someone came by and gave us waters and menus. We sat there for about 20 minutes watching everyone around us being served. Kate & Smarty were SO kind and both deserve raises for the incredible diligence in their work & character. They told me not only about how the barback is ONE SOLID piece of wood, but that it came there from the late 1800s via BUTCH CASSIDY then PAUL NEWMAN before ROBERT REDFORD took it over. What a cool experience.
We loved the live music, atmosphere, and food at the Owl Bar, but the service was frustrating. We were asked several times if we wanted to close out, and a staff member even stopped me on my way to the restroom to ask about paying. We told staff we were stepping outside briefly and would return, but our unfinished fries were cleared anyway.
