My wife and I have come here a number of times over the years and the food is always great, the atmosphere is near perfect and the service is on point. Last night was no exception. Food was as good as always and our server Ike was both funny and attentive. Made for another excellent night.
We came here before zip lining and sat outside on the patio. The outdoor patio in the back is beautiful! There is a creek that runs through it, you’re surrounded by trees and they had a nice fire going. The patio alone is worth five stars. The food is pretty pricey so don’t come here expecting a cheap meal. I ordered the nachos and was pretty disappointed. They were $26 which is wild to begin with and they are certainly overpriced. Very odd experience at the Owl! My wife and I have visited a few times prior and always enjoyed good food and service. This time wasn't so great. Our server, Graham, seemed to want to be anywhere other than our table. At one point, he literally walked away in the middle of chatting with us. Very odd. Ordered the cerviche with chips and had some of the stalest chips we've ever had. Having to spend a minute chewing through a tortilla chip was new for us. The cerviche itself was okay. At least the drinks were solid.
Love the ambiance of this place. But, got the burger because they said “it is the best thing on the menu” and it was pretty mediocre. Like it’s been 3 hrs since I have had it and I am still sad to pay $60 for two burgers. Wished we would have gotten the wings or some other shareable starters.
