Overflow Cottage has been a OK experience. I don’t think the owners realize that in todays world, when we are traveling and living outside of home, we want to feel cosy and welcome. We had cottage 1. Although the interior is clean, it is poorly designed and there was no personal touch (there were no pictures on the walls at all either), which made the space feel uninviting. I have stayed at Overflow cottages on each of my 3 last visits to Mansfield. You will be staying in a clean comfortable well equipped unit . Nice walk/ bike ride along railway track just opposite the property. Set well back off highway. Safe for children. 1min drive from town centre. Welcoming generous hosts. Good price. Lovely location which improves each visit. Yes I recommend this place to stay.
We had a great stay at the Overflow cottages. Dianne and Paul were super hosts, warm and welcoming but unintrusive. Dianne spoilt us with some of her homemade treats that she would leave for us! The accommodation was clean, spacious and very comfortable. Well situated close to the township of Mansfield in a beautifully kept property, it is also close to walks and easy access to the spectacular sights of the high country. Great place and very nice stuff, the houses are very clean and have nice heating, washing machine, tv, fridge
