I’ve seen this program genuinely help save lives, including not only my own recovery journey but also many others I personally know. Think twice before using this service. The facilitators are good however Penny should never been allowed to run this “treatment facility” she’s a bully and has a history of bullying people to the point where they have been asked to leave or want to leave if you question or challenge her. You’re not encouraged to think freely or go through your recovery without being told how she thinks you should do it. It’s very damaging and there’s been a lot of individuals damaged by her behaviour. This place needs to be investigated

The Overcomers Place (TOP) really delivers what it says… it’s a professional, supportive and truly caring community of counsellors who are all highly trained and most importantly it’s all evidence based. You can choose which day sessions you want to attend and each day has a different style whether that’s DBT (Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (highly recommend), or resilience, relapse prevention and also education on addiction and the effects it has on the brain, our behaviour etc. TOP treats all addictions with an emphasis o... read more
