I have been to the outer banks several times and I've never left a comment. After reading some, I felt the need to. I think anyone who gives less than 3 stars is just an unreasonable person who no one likes being around. The one that is only looking for the most insignificant thing to complain about while exaggerating on the things worth noting. Fantastic cabins, Fantastic location. Some of the best skidooing outside your doorstep, x country skiing and downhill skiing.
Extended family stayed together in a 4 bedroom cabin. Needing some TLC and upgrades to meet the label of "luxury cabin". View of the river was incredible.
The chalets are well stocked with everything you'd need. The beds were comfortable, and the hottub was clean. We had a great stay.
