Ankeny is known for the worst restaurants and this one helps that rumor stay relevant. I don’t like leaving bad reviews but this place is worth not visiting if you can avoid it
Typically I order to have picked up and brought to Ames, but this last order i ordered the Cajun Chicken Conb Salad which I thoroughly enjoy, however there was no chicken in the salad and there is nowhere else to complain or can I do anything about it 35 minutes later when I am opening the food. Usually everything is great food, as always but massively disappointed in the lack luster effort of putting my chicken In the salad.
Met a small group there, and everything was great. The server was busy, and checked on us regularly enough that no glass was empty that wanted filled. I had the bacon avocado chicken quesadila this time, which is great. Just the right amount of each topping. It hit the spot! My friends had the smokehouse pizza, and they said it was very tasty. It looked really good. We all left happy!
