I was a wonderful experience at the Orthopedic Surgical Center. Beyond the surgery going well, I truly appreciated the staff. When I got there, the same day billing was thoroughly explained by the woman at the front desk. I have never had a provider walk me through exactly what was going on with such detail before and I truly appreciated it. I had nurse Amanda who was leading my care with overview from nurse Sydney. The Orthopedic Surgical Center, its surgeons and nursing staff are great! But the folks that they contract with to do their billing are the worst I have experienced. They do not provide an option to pay online. I don't like sending checks or my credit card info through the mail. When I have tried to call to pay over the phone, I have never gotten in touch with someone. I have to leave a message "to keep my place in line." I had surgery there yesterday. A spiral fracture in my left fibula. Never had surgery before even though 30+ years in construction I was nervous. The staff was so great and made me feel comfortable. Could not recommend Dr. Reichard more. I had a plate screwed to my bone. I was the last one there and the nurse Michael was great. He sat outside with me for half an hour making sure I got into my ride home safely.
