We have had a very bad experience. On the advice of my dentist I brought both of my children in, even though my son's teeth did not show any evidence of crowding and were perfectly straight. They told me my son needed a palate expander because his teeth would get crowded when his 12 year-old molars came in (at a cost of $3000). I asked if it was possible that his mouth would grow to accommodate all of his teeth because my husband and everyone in his family has beautifully straight teeth. Dr. James Oh is very good! I had a painless braces experience and everything went so smoothly!! Definitely recommend
I had all good reviews until my last visit. I sat in the waiting room and watched other patients being called back until I said something to the lady at the front desk. Finally got to be seen which was good. However I had to have some of my teeth shaved down (don’t know the correct term) to make room. I tasted blood in my mouth so I thought maybe the tech would rinse my mouth, she never did. Anyway she told me to pop back in my trays so she can take a look. The Orthodontic Studio is absolutely fantastic! They take everyone but specialize in children. I gave them five stars, I wish I could give them 10. I’m a very tough reviewer. I seldom give more than 4 stars but when it comes to Dr. Smith and her amazing team. I had to relent and give them the deserved 5 stars. My two daughters had a great experience with their braces over the past 2 years! Thank you Dr. Smith & the Orthodontic Studio team!
No one described getting braces as a journey to me, but that is exactly what it is. For my family, it is a journey times three with various routes: traditional brackets and Invisalign.
