Great location in DT Jacksonville! Also, it's probably the most comfortable bed I've slept in in a very long time.
This hotel could be a beautiful historic hotel. However, in its current state it is not clean and missing many amenities such as facial tissue, drinking water, glasses and the coffee cups provided are stained and unclean. Soaps and Shampoos provided are cheap. The window blinds are broken, the windows are very durty and the entire room is unclean. The bedding is questionable and thrown together. The bathroom accommodations are in disrepair and showers un-usuable. We would not recommend this Hotel to anyone in it's current co... read more
Loved Ellen's Hideaway at Orth House in Jacksonville. Remotion Wine's Tasting Room occupies some of this historic house. There are two guest suites upstairs and Ellen's Hideaway is on the bottom floor. We chose Ellen's Hideaway because it is pet friendly. The king sized bed is the most comfortable bed we've ever slept on in a room rental. The room itself is fairly big and feels very comfy.
