I have used the original chimney sweep a few times. The last time I had called them we couldn't get an appointment right away. We had to wait a few days. They ended up calling a few days prior saying they had finished a job and had a bit of extra time. They were at my house within 10 minutes. It did end up being an emergency and they completed the task that same day. Friendly, professional, reasonable and did an amazing job. Only chimney company I will call !
Had them come out in January 2017 for a cleaning and inspection. Claimed there was a large crack (provided no evidence of such) and needed a liner before using our chimney again. Well we waited a few months (which is entirely our fault for not inspecting our chimney immediately) and then went to use our chimney anyways, and discovered there was a giant chunk missing from our flue! Our heat had been escaping this whole time and is not unusable.

We serviced you on 1/3/17.... over a year ago! .and warned you your flue is NOT usable. we found your fireplace flue to be unsafe and DO NOT USE. we put it in writing that it was NOT USABLE and if you so choose to USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. we wrote down all the details on what was needed to make the flue SAFE and workable. we rec a lining system and that is quite expensive so I can see you being upset by the cost to fix this chimney. I have only used this company, & will ONLY use them in the future. They are professional, neat , clean & go above & beyond for their customers. Keeping their customers safe & warm is their priority!!!!!
