My wife, Christy, and I have stayed at The Grove Park Inn more than half a dozen times, but we had never experienced the Club Level floor—we had no idea what an incredible stay awaited us. From the moment we arrived, the concierge staff made all the difference. We spent a lot of time in the dining area, just relaxing and soaking in the atmosphere. That’s where we had the pleasure of meeting Christy, Mark, and Tim (I believe that’s correct). Their attention to detail was unparalleled. They were not only personable but also ef... read more

My wife and I went to The Grove Park Inn for my wife's 40th birthday. We were directed to park in the one of the parking decks. It was very clear that our car was not going to make the clearance. We had just purchased a new car 3 days prior. The car is quite tall. We returned to the valet area and informed them of the issue. They sent us to the second parking deck. We pulled up to this parking entrance and my wife got out of the vehicle to note the height. It was clear that this clearance wasn't worth the risk (which is the ... read more

Beware the parking lies. All signs state $10.00 for first three hours. Irritated by new parking charges since Omni took over, but figured part goes to charity, so go with it. there about and hour, pay with a $20, got $5.00 back. Used call for help button, told to come back up to customer service. No, because there is a line backed up a mile long of folks coming to check in. Told to wait where I was, someone coming. 10 minutes--called on phone to hotel. "Someone is coming soon." 30 minutes, security shows up who knows nothing... read more

Beautiful scenery The Grove Park Inn in Asheville NC is truly an elegant and resplendent resort nestled in the mountains of Western North Carolina providing world class service with the friendly mannerisms of a small town. When we went there we were greeted by everyone with smiles and polite words and made to feel like we were kings returning to our castle after many years aways abroad. By the end of the our weekend stay, most of the staff knew us by our first names.

Must stay If your the type of person who worries about "prices" then this is not your place to come. But we only live once and you should go ahead and make reservations and stay! The food at the Grove Park Inn is just absolutely wonderful. Serving a Sunday Brunch that I would gladly pay more if asked. :) Service is wonderful. This is a once in a lifetime place - so go and enjoy.

Grove Park Inn This was one of the nicest parts about our trip to Asheville. I loved the Grove Park Inn. We stayed in one of the remodeled rooms in the main building and it was beautiful. The lobby is from another time and place with its huge fireplace and rocking chairs. We found a special price on the Internet and the price was great. I can't wait to come back again.

Cannot say enough good, wish to stay longer I wish we'd have had more than 4 days here. It really is a lovely hotel. Our suite very comfortably slept 4, and we would have had room to throw a party for about 30 in there.

Timeless Before December 2005, the last time I'd been to the Grove Park Inn was twenty years ago. Except for the spa, it seemed as if nothing had changed. And that's a good thing. Unlike the other reviewer, we were in a tiny room with an obstructed view, right next to the spa. Who cares? Who spends time in the room in a resort like this? Plus, just to let you know, in case you are traveling with an infant like we were, the GPI has really nice wooden cribs. And, I think the reason we were given the room we were is that we had... read more
