This place was a blast! It’s a little tricky to find the entrance, and parking can be tough, just an FYI. You buzz In and check in was easy. The staff were amazing and treated everyone like family. I stayed in one of the rooms that had an attached bathroom. The bathrooms are a bit small but that’s to be expected. The window AC unit worked well and cooled the room with no issues. There are no TVs anywhere – that’s pretty true of the entire Old Town Bisbee – but, just an fyi to keep in mind. I enjoyed the decorations – they le... read more
This place is a literal hidden gem. Everywhere you turn there is something interesting to look at. The staff is friendly and will take time to answer your questions. This place is over 100 years old so expect quirkiness but the place is clean and well cared for. Now that I have found this place, there is no other place I would stay in Bisbee.
My wife and I visited for my birthday and loved our room (12). Staff was extremely friendly. Will definitely be back and hope to stay in room 13 so we can possibly experience some paranormal activity.
A simple room in a building with a lot of character. You are getting exactly what's advertised. It is a historic building, with a history and construction consistent with its era and few changes to disturb that. It has a beautiful garden outside and balconies around two sides. If you are looking for a cozy, memorable stay in a unique hotel, this is it. If you are looking for the Ritz, you probable aren't in the right place.
Unique place to stay in AZ. Bisbee is a great escape from the broiling weather in the city. The Oliver house was super cozy and very clean. We stayed in room 13 which has a private bath and toilet, even so, we did use the communal shower and found it clean and comfortable. Had a few scares but I can't say for sure if it was ghosts or our own heebie jeebies. Nat Anderson if you're reading this you were quite a pleasant spectral roomie.
The Oliver House has a 4.7 star rating with 130 reviews.
The Oliver House is open now. It will close tomorrow at 12:00 a.m.
