Motorcycle friendly guest house in the middle of picturesque Canowindra old town. Well appointed, clean and very comfortable rooms. The owners Alison and Graeme were very kind and helpful. Full bar in comfortable lounge area. Off street parking at rear. I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommended.
Group travelled from Sydney, enjoyed the country scenery on the way. Once arrived warm fire and beer. Historic building with alot of charm owners. Amenities are clean shower hot a/c in Rooms. Basic breakfast provided.
Our two criteria before booking were clean and safe. This place is both.. Comfortable bed, good shower with hot water, and the old world charm is certainly there. Alison was very nice on the phone. All that said, the place is a little eccentric, which we like. However, when we pulled up to the front of the building, it looked closed. Alison assured us that the BnB portion was, in fact, open but only accessible through the back entrance. Continental breakfast was basic but did offer all the usual items. We almost decided not to stay, due to a head cold and being so close to home, but we’d already booked our room so we did end up staying after all. What a wonderful old building. We were the only guests in this 160 year old pub, but we were greeted by the lovely Alison and upgraded to the king bed suite, much to our satisfaction. Having the entire building to ourselves felt very special. Thank you for your hospitality and friendly service.
