This is my most favorite "nook" of Vermont, and I LIVE in Vermont, though just shy two hours North (wish I lived here!) I've worked here (photographer), have had the joy of staying overnight (the beds = heaven) with and without my precious pup (yay! dog friendly!), food (I have no words it's THAT GOOD), the local community, and just all around feel is welcoming.
