What an incredible place and a super fun event. I loved the attention to detail, the service the food and the special drinks. It was and amazing event and the energy was lifting.
What an amazing experience! The full moon prohibition evening did not disappoint! The details of a paper stripped draw in our drink, local honey in another drink, use of local staples for the DELICIOUS meal, and the love and fellowship made our last night in PEI just perfect. My husband and I weren't sure what to expect when we attended the Full Moon Prohibition Garden Party, but we ended up having a fabulous time! Everyone there got into the spirit of the1920's prohibition years by dressing like flappers, rum-runners and gangsters. The sommelier, Lesley Quinn, who was dressed like a flapper, welcomed us by presenting us with "prescriptions" and introducing us to ginger beer spiked with PEI moonshine. Fun filled educational evening on the beautiful Murray River with a delightful menu appropriate to the Prohibition era!
Paige and chef Christine provided a very unique and special culinary experience at their beautifully restored 1850’s general store turned restaurant in Murry River, PEI. The oysters were local and delicious and the chowder was excellent. The music was also fantastic, a curated play list from Spotify. I recommend them highly if you are interested in an intimate food tasting!
