Fun filled educational evening on the beautiful Murray River with a delightful menu appropriate to the Prohibition era!
Paige and chef Christine provided a very unique and special culinary experience at their beautifully restored 1850’s general store turned restaurant in Murry River, PEI. The oysters were local and delicious and the chowder was excellent. The music was also fantastic, a curated play list from Spotify. I recommend them highly if you are interested in an intimate food tasting!
We had a large family gathering at Shaw’s Hotel and we’re coming in from Ontario. We wanted to have a special dinner for all 30 guests and found chef Paige and Christine. We coordinated the meals virtually and they executed with perfection. We had a pulled pork dinner with side potato, ceasar and pasta salad. We also ordered a brunch that was easy to reheat. We really enjoyed everything and will use their services next time we are on the island!
I reached out to The Old General Catering to have a gift basket delivered to a family member. This was not their regular request, but they didn't hesitate and said yes, and made it easy for me ( I am in Ontario). I definitely recommend you call Paige and Chef Christine they will surprise you!
Chef Christine and and Paige recently catered a milestone birthday celebration for me and my family. Everything about it was incredible. The multi-course meal was expertly prepared and served by the experts at Old General Catering House.
