So nicely preserved
Took my kids over the fourth. Never went. Glad I did. Cool to see and my kids ran around. What a day!
Ft Wayne Indiana is named for Revolutionary War General Anthony Wayne. If you are into history, it’s a cool step back in time. Hard to believe 50-75 men lived her in brutal Northern Indiana winters.
Nothing was there, bit even parking. Lawn was mowed but that's it. There was parking across a busy one way four lane street with no crosswalk. Horrible to see history treated this way.
It is a nice place to visit and learn some local history. The reenactors are all volunteer and there is no charge for entry.
The Old Fort has a 4.3 star rating with 35 reviews.
The Old Fort is closed now. It will open tomorrow at 9:00 a.m.
