I am very saddened to be writing this review. As a member of the vet community and former OSU grad, I have always held OSUVMC in very high esteem. It was always the place you go for top notch care and a supportive experience. When my own pet needed emergency care in November, I didn’t hesitate to take her to OSU over my own former employer, Medvet, due to this reputation. Sadly, the experience was anything but supportive. We took our cat to OSU vet clinic on February 18th for what we considered was an emergency situation. He had been very ill over 6 weeks with respiratory symptoms that had been progressively getting worse. He wasn’t eating or drinking and struggled with every breath he took. His breathing was so labored we could hear it in the next room. We were told he may require a viral panel or a CT scan performed and internal medicine would contact us on Monday.
