I was beyond disappointed. My guy and me had previously stayed here twice before and loved it. It was outdated back then but that was part of it’s charm. It was falling apart. In our room the fireplace was boarded up, the bay window was stuck shut, the handle to the hot water in the bathroom was stripped and unable to use, not sure of the jetted tub because we didn’t have a chance to use it but none of this compares to what happened next. After a full day exploring the Redwoods in Big Basin, we drove up to the Oceanfront Inn and stayed in the Porto room. The beachfront view was outstanding. We ended up spending most of our time on the balcony watching people and dogs walk the beach. Quiet, relaxing, and exactly what we needed. Highly recommend and hope to return someday.

Best place to stay near the beach by a long shot. The rooms were great and have the best views. We opened the windows and fell asleep to the sound of waves crashing in the background. Amazing.

You can’t beat the location and the ocean view. However, I would never come back again for sure. We stayed at the big surf room. Nothing is working , including spa tub and clogged sink. Everything in the room is very outdated and dirty. The breakfast was unattractive and extremely simple. It is such a disappointment. The hotel definitely needs to remodeling, clean up the ground floor trash and hire professionals stuff. Family style good but the service was sloppy and confusing.
