I don’t even know where to begin… Ocean House is magic. The entire place is so breathtaking it almost doesn’t feel real. Well, not the best stay for us here. No hot water in the room for about 14 hours was a big problem. No answer when texting the desk or even an answered phone call. Although the people who worked there were very nice some of them have such heavy accents and talked so fast it was hard to understand what they were saying. The room, although very nice, had such a buildup of dirt above the heating/cooling grate it must have been accumulating there for quite a while. Four of us had both dinner and breakfast here. My wife and I spent 5 nights at the Ocean House as an anniversary celebration. It's a beautiful property with an extraordinary beachside location. For a room rate over $1,000 per night off-season, we expected near perfection and were mostly satisfied. There were a few unexpectedly glitches, however. Getting the room temperature comfortable was challenging, mostly due to a non-standard thermostat.
